PRESIDENT’ S MESSAGE, Updated Mar. 1, 2019
Click here to read a message from the HOA Board President.
Based on the resident survey which showed a majority of respondents either wanting to change base color or would be willing to look at the idea, and after hearing personal requests, the board is considering the idea of changing the base color of our villas, as part of a larger maintenance strategy being put together. Many residents feel our paint colors are dated, and our homes would have better market value with a modern paint scheme. We need a committee of interested residents to look into changing the color of our whole villas before we decide when to paint. Work will involve (1) looking into what color choices Architectural Review Committee would allow and the percentage of residents necessary for a possible change. (2) Talking to Sherwin-Williams paint store about providing electronically colored villa pictures depicting various paint schemes. (3) Be willing to listen to residents that would contact the committee with their thoughts. This committee would start work very soon and have a report for the board before the end of May as time is important in deciding a painting strategy. The board would ask all residents, regardless of your preference, to allow this process to unfold without emotional responses that divide our community.
