De La Mesa
|Ester Tranby - April 2019|
Please welcome Esther Tranby to De La Mesa South. She purchased Jane Meyer’s villa at 607 Dominguez in late February.
She grew up in western Virginia, but spent most of her life in Annapolis, Maryland. She and her husband started a business provided architectural security for embassies, government offices, banks, etc. They had three children, nine grandchildren, and now three great-grandchildren.
On January 1, 2004, Esther and her husband moved into their new home in the Villages of Bonnybrook, which was the first village south of Highway 466, which was a two-lane road at the time. She marvels at all the changes she has seen over the years. Since her husband is deceased, she decided it was time to downsize and chose DLM as her new home.
Esther enjoys playing Trisom and Mah-Jongg. She also keeps busy volunteering for the Lake Sumter Lions Club, and Hope Lutheran Church.
