De La Mesa
|Jenny Wolfrom - Feb 2019|
Jenny Wolfrom is a new resident and resides at 747 Hernandez. She purchased in July of 2018, and did an extensive renovation to the home. She moved in in early February, 2019. She is originally from New Jersey. Around 2000, she relocated to Orlando and lived there for five years. She then moved to Sunset Point in The Villages and stayed there for thirteen years. She decided to downsize and she chose DLM because it is a close-knit community.
She has a daughter in Maryland and a son in North Carolina. The has four grandchildren and is expecting her first great-grandson.
She spent most of her career managing medical practices. While she lived in Orlando, she managed Florida TheatricalAssociation. She really enjoyed that job, and one of the great perks was to be able to see the Broadway shows for free, and attend the after-party to meet the cast.
Jenny is quite the athlete. She played competitive tennis for twenty years. When she was 53, she took up volleyball and is a two-time national champion! She has competed in many Senior Games and has the medals to show for it! She also enjoys golf and made her first hole-in-one a couple of years ago. She swears it was pure luck! She is looking forward to enjoying the pool for water walking.
The other member of Jenny’s family is Tucker, her Labradoodle. He is currently at Doggy Boot Camp, but she looks forward to walking him around the neighborhood again, once he graduates. He will turn two years old on Saint Patrick’s Day, so he is an Irishman for sure!
